Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie, le 17 juin 2010 - La Wharton School de l'Université de Pennsylvanie a le plaisir de vous annoncer qu'à l'occasion de son Global Alumni Forum, qui se déroulera à Madrid les 24 et 25 juin 2010, elle remettra sa plus haute récompense, la Médaille du Doyen, à son Altesse Royale le Prince des Asturies, Philippe de Bourbon. His Royal Highness will attend the Forum's Farewell act accompanied by his wife, Princess Letizia, where they will have the opportunity to exchange opinions on the current global economic situation with some of the most renowned international academic, business and financial leaders. Themed, "A Whole New World: Where Do We Go From Here?", the Forum will convene international and regional leaders of business, government, and academia to discuss the most pressing issues facing today's changing global marketplace, and to examine fresh opportunities for growth, emerging economies, and innovative business ideas. Prince Felipe will be recognized with the Dean's Medal for his outstanding work on behalf of Spain's economic, commercial, and cultural interests, as well as his role as Honorary President of the Prince of Asturias Foundation and the Prince of Girona Foundation. Granted annually in eight categories, the Foundation's international awards promote the scientific, cultural, and humanistic values that form part of mankind's universal heritage. Thomas S. Robertson, dean of the Wharton School, will give the medal to the Prince ( a honour that has been formerly awarded to Governmental and business celebrities such as Alan Greenspan, César Gaviria y Álvaro Uribe, or Shimon Peres ) during the Farewell ceremony of the Forum, followed by His Royal Highness' Closing Remarks to the Forum's Organization and participants, and also accompanied by a keynote speech from Antonio Garrigues Walker.
