Interactive data's comstock strengthens global real-time sales organization

Experienced Sales Professionals Focused on Expanding ComStock's Growing Institutional Market Share

White Plains, NY and London, December 11, 2006 – ComStock, an Interactive Data (NYSE: IDC) business and a leading provider of real-time global market data and managed solutions, today announced that it has substantially enhanced its global real-time sales organization with a number of new appointments.

The ComStock sales organization is led in North America by Richard O'Dea, who joined the company in April 2006 as vice president of sales, and in Europe, Middle East and Africa by regional sales directors Rob Lane and Herve Ferro.

The new members of ComStock's global team who have joined the company during the past year include the following sales managers:

Mike Cirillo – Mike has 17 years of experience in the market data industry. Before joining ComStock, he managed sales territories in the northeastern United States for Reuters America, with a particular focus on building relationships with top-tier hedge funds.

Julie Chang – Julie comes to ComStock with over 10 years of financial services experience, most recently having spent numerous years in sales at Reuters America. At Reuters, she focused on managing key account relationships, winning new business within the buy side and developing programs with prime brokerages.

Jeff Kenney – Jeff has more than 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently working with FT Interactive Data where he managed relationships with a number of the company's strategic partners.

John Moores – John has more than 10 years of experience in the real-time data industry, including sales positions in the commodities and energy sector at Reuters/MoneylineTelerate, and at FactSet, where he was responsible for institutional sales of market data, history and news.

Jean Baptiste Nouvion – Jean Baptiste has 5 years of experience in the real-time data industry. He previously worked for Reuters as a key account manager.

John Purvis – John has more than 6 years of experience in the financial service industry. Prior to his position at ComStock, he was at SunGard Data Management Solutions, where he managed sales for a suite of services, including real-time datafeeds, web-based data solutions, a historical time series data storage container and analytical tools. Before SunGard, John was an account manager at Reuters where he managed sales for a real-time suite of products.

Finn Schioldan – Finn has worked in the financial services industry for more than 16 years and brings vast knowledge of the various asset classes. He joins Interactive Data from Thomson Financial.
